The Internet Killed Your Social Skills: Brooklyn’s First Musical Chairs Dating Night now has a blog! The Internet Killed Your Social Skills event is designed to make meeting new people light hearted and fun for the generation of movers, shakers, and text messagers. Our event takes place the first Thursday of every month at Macri Park bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. We encourage young, shizzeling singles, their friends, and personal cheerleaders to come join us while we drink away our work week, listen to some tunes, and put on our dancing shoes as we force you into a mildly uncomfortable situation to talk to strangers for the length of a song. Afterwards, in the days to follow, your blonde bombshell yenta of the night (that’s me!) will contact you if you had a match.
To create a fun and laid back environment for our trying-to-be cool speed dating event! Speed daters, cold feet singles, spectators, spoken for ladies and gentlemen, and friends are more than welcomed to just come to the bar and hang out…and of course, enjoy the drink specials!
