The Internet Killed Your Social Skills is gearing up for it’s February speed dating spectacular event, SNAG-A-VALENTINE! We will be holding up at Macri Park Bar in Williamsburg on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD with our usual shenanigans. Click on the title above to be digitally transported to our Facebook event invite.

The Good Stuff Going On This Week
As many of you know, yours truly has some awesomely talented friends. With that said, you should come witness some of these awesomely talented friends of mine as Infinity Spaceship, the best Live Band Karaoke in the city! It is free and taking place from 8pm to 1am in the back room of your favorite off-the-park spot, Bar Matchless!
And once you have gotten your voice back and nursed your hangover at work, don’t forget to come to The Cove FRIDAY night for CHAMPAGNE! RSVP and come early to try to snag a free drink ticket. Complimentary champagne toasts will be poured throughout the night by your hosts, Masters Of The Universe! This is another event that you favorite yenta (me!) of TIKYSS is partaking in, so come check it out! Rad DJs, drink special, dance party, and me!

WELL HELLO 2011!
I hope you all had a rousing and safe NYE! It seems only right that we all really celebrate the new year together THIS THURSDAY, January 6th at Macri Park Bar in Williamsburg! You have had enough time to recover from your New Year’s Eve debauchery and now it is time to cozy up with us! We have been loyal to you for over a year now, so come celebrate the world not ending with us! And hopefully find some new looooove in the new year.
The Usual:
7pm for drink specials, sign-ups, and hanging out with your favorite host
8:30pm for speed dating
Am I Going To Have to Tell You Twice:
1.) Sign up for speed dating and get your name tag. Everyone is wearing one so it is the cool thing to do.
2.) Time to kill between sign ups and speed dating? Drink specials, mingle, scope out the goods
3.) When we are ready to start speed dating, we will call your name and give you a card and seat you. You will have the length of a song, about 3 minutes, to talk to each speed dater. WRITE DOWN THE NAMES OF EVERYONE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN! At the end of speed dating, give your pencils and cards back to the host.
4.) AFTER speed dating, stick around! Drinks, tunes, and excellent company. In the days that follow, I will go through the cards and send out match emails. Happy Hunting!
